Bon Bon Bouye
Project Brief
Bon Bon Bouye is a collaborative marketing initiative developed with the Montana State University Food Product Development Lab. The project focuses on elevating and supporting Senegalese women farmers by creating market visibility and strengthening the connection between their products and global consumers.
Results
The final deliverables include a full brand identity and packaging system for two products: the Bonbon Bouye peanut bar and Bao‑Sorgho yogurt. The visual direction draws from the cultural significance of the Baobab tree and the vibrant patterns found in Senegalese women’s fashion. A Baobab‑fruit logo and complementary pattern work create a cohesive, culturally resonant identity that honors these influences.
These design innovations support the project’s broader mission to empower Senegalese households, increase income opportunities, and strengthen nutritional access within their communities.
