Kevin Lu Portraits

I had the privilege of working with Kevin Lu, a skilled portrait photographer and VFX lighting artist with credits in DreamWorks films such as The Wild Robot, Kung Fu Panda 4, and The Book of Life. I delivered custom YouTube thumbnails, provided brand identity consultation, offered advice for a website refresh, and designed a client-facing Google Slide deck to elevate his business in Portrait Photography.

This collaboration resulted in a more polished, professional visual identity for Kevin’s brand, which translated into increased audience engagement on his YouTube channel, Kevin Lu Portrait Studio. The improved design consistency and messaging across his platforms helped strengthen his brand’s presence, making it easier for potential clients to connect with his work.

Beyond the technical results, this project was a significant milestone in my growth as a designer, as it provided invaluable opportunities for creative collaboration. Working with Kevin, whose career includes contributions to major films, gave me a deeper understanding of the visual storytelling process. It was a powerful reminder of how creative networking and collaboration push us to evolve.
